What a great time this was, friends! This was a triumphant festival – bouncy houses, lots of local artists displaying wares, sausages and beer, the whole village of Stone Mountain overflowing with bluegrass merriment. A wonderful event.
We shared the main stage on Sunday, March 30 with some fantastic old-time and bluegrass pickers, including one excellent fellow who played banjo with a small dog standing on his shoulders. We are not kidding. (How can you compete with something like this? Not since Denis played with Paul Hohenlohe and his ferret, Elvin, have we been confronted with such animal-training-and-musical virtuosity.)
